Because most take without giving. Or give, without taking. Rarely will someone do both. Deep down, think about it. Even those that would do something to benefit their own community, do so at the cost of another. Even that balance, comes at a cost. The only perfection is the understanding that perfection doesn't exist. At least not for anyone else. So, when others take and give to themselves, the balance is maintained, yes, but then they are just another monster to someone else. And since I care for all i've created, everyone is both that which is most precious to me, and my biggest source of pain.
